Commitment to Digital Accessibility

Last updated 8 May 2026

‍At Everblue, we believe that access to information and services is a fundamental right—not a luxury. That’s why we’re committed to designing and delivering digital experiences that are inclusive, usable, and accessible to everyone, regardless of ability. We reject the idea that accessibility is an afterthought. It's baked into everything we build—from software platforms to public-facing websites to digital documents—because we know the real world isn’t one-size-fits-all. Whether a person is navigating with a screen reader, using a keyboard instead of a mouse, or viewing content through magnification software, they should be able to fully participate, engage, and benefit from the tools and resources we provide.

‍Compliance & Standards
‍
-
Everblue ensures that all digital content and technology solutions we develop comply with:
- Applicable state and federal accessibility laws and technology standards
-
The most current version of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), Level AA
- Accessibility best practices for websites, applications, kiosks, and digital documents
-
Requirements that ensure compatibility with assistive technologies, including screen readers, screen magnifiers, alternative input devices, and browser/system combinations used by people with disabilities

This means that every digital touchpoint we deliver is:
- Perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust
- Accessible across devices, browsers, and operating systems
- Built to support users with visual, auditory, cognitive, and physical impairments
‍
‍Proof of Compliance
‍
When requested, Everblue is prepared to demonstrate conformance by providing:
‍
- An independent, third-party accessibility evaluation, or
- A Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) using the latest VPAT 2.5 WCAG format

We regularly review and test our digital content against accessibility QA checklists and guidance from the State of Colorado’s accessibility resources, ensuring continuous improvement and accountability.

‍Accessibility Is a Core Value
‍
For us, accessibility isn’t about checking boxes or avoiding legal risk. It’s about building better systems—for everyone. We believe inclusive design leads to stronger outcomes, higher engagement, and more respect for public institutions. We are proud to work alongside our partners to raise the bar on digital inclusion and deliver experiences that work for all users, without exception.
