Building the Foundation of an Entrepreneurial Community: Everblue’s Role in Shaping the Hurt Hub

From the start, Everblue’s co-founders, Jon and Chris Boggiano, have believed in the power of community-driven entrepreneurship. Even before the Jay Hurt Hub for Innovation and Entrepreneurship opened, Jon and Chris were working to build a strong startup community in Davidson.

They played a key role in raising early financial support for the Hurt Hub and worked closely with partners to build momentum for the idea of a collaborative space where students, founders, and local professionals could connect. Their commitment to strengthening their business community also led them to co-found LaunchLKN (now LaunchCLT), which has since grown into a thriving network of mentors, investors, and innovators.

Over the years, we’ve seen firsthand how their early efforts helped the region evolve:

Today, the Hurt Hub is a great example of what collaboration and community vision can create. Jon and Chris were involved from the first conversations, and we’re proud of their impact and grateful for the part they played in building this entrepreneurial community.

"Looking back, it’s amazing to see how the vision we started with has become a thriving hub for innovation. We’re proud to have played a role in creating a space that inspires and supports so many entrepreneurs in Davidson."  -Jon Boggiano

As we celebrate this chapter, we also reflect on Everblue’s own journey within these walls. Stay tuned as we share more about our seven amazing years at the Hurt Hub and the exciting path ahead for Everblue!
