Everblue software developers have bridged the certification and credentialing processes of two organizations using innovation and technology. As a result, candidates seeking certification from the federal government can now gain their credential more efficiently.

Connecting Certification Systems Through Automation

Scantron develops and delivers millions of digital assessments and certification tests each year, supporting organizations across education, business, and government.

One of Scantron’s federal clients sought to improve efficiency across test registration, delivery, and credential management. Because Everblue already hosted the client’s registration and certification management system, its development team was able to build a seamless integration between the two platforms.

Streamlining the Candidate Experience and Scaling Programs

Everblue developed automated workflows that securely pass data between systems. This includes sending candidate eligibility information—such as prerequisites and payment status—to Scantron, and receiving exam results back into Everblue’s system.

“After the user completes their exam, Scantron sends us pass/fail data, which triggers additional workflows like resetting eligibility windows or initiating retest processes,” said Sid Bergstresser, Everblue’s chief technology officer.

These automated workflows reduce manual effort, eliminate bottlenecks, and create a more streamlined experience for both administrators and candidates—allowing federal certification programs to scale more efficiently.
