Everblue got its start offering in-person training to professionals around the world. At one point, we delivered classes in over 100 physical locations. As smartphones and tablets became more widespread, we expanded into online course delivery—making our training more accessible beyond geographic boundaries.
From In-Person Training to Digital Learning
Over time, we transitioned from a primarily in-person model to a blended and then fully online experience. This shift allowed us to reach more learners while maintaining the quality and consistency of our training programs.
Building Expertise in Online Learning Platforms
Over the past 10+ years, we’ve refined the online learning experience by working with a wide range of tools and technologies, including:
- Learning management systems (LMS)
- Curriculum development platforms
- Video hosting and embedding tools
- Live and automated exam proctoring software
- Grading and reporting systems
Through this experience, our development team has gained a deep understanding of both what works—and what doesn’t—when it comes to delivering a world-class online training experience.
Identifying Gaps and Creating Better Solutions
With this level of expertise, we’ve also recognized the limitations of many existing platforms. Rather than settling for off-the-shelf or open-source solutions, we’ve focused on enhancing and building upon them to fill critical gaps.
Our combination of technical skill, real-world experience, and user insight allows us to design systems that are not only functional, but intuitive and scalable.
Supporting a Government Agency’s New Certification Program
When a prominent government agency announced plans to launch a new certification program, we saw an opportunity to apply our knowledge and help build a secure, efficient, and user-friendly training interface.
The agency initially outlined several core components for the system:
- Courses View – Manage course names and curriculum
- Class View – Organize session details such as date, time, and format
- Enrollees View – Track candidate completion data
- Voucher Interface – Handle purchasing, validation, and assignment of vouchers
- Reviews Interface – Allow candidates to submit and view feedback
Expanding the System for Greater Functionality
After collaborating closely with the agency, we identified additional features that would enhance usability and performance:
- Curriculum View – Create, edit, and manage course content
- Candidate View – Upload and manage candidate data via CSV
- Questionnaire View – Customize question types (multiple choice, text, Boolean logic)
- Reports View – Generate, save, and export custom and pre-defined reports
These enhancements helped transform the system into a more comprehensive and scalable solution—capable of supporting multiple training providers while delivering a seamless experience for both administrators and learners.
