The Arkansas Department of Agriculture will introduce the option of online pest control certification exams through a partnership with Everblue, an innovative technology company that specializes in digitizing and automating processes.

Bringing Pest Control Certification Online

Pest control work involves managing pests such as termites, roaches, ants, and turf-related insects and weeds. Depending on the type of work being performed, professionals must obtain the appropriate certifications or licenses.

Through this partnership, certification candidates can now register online for their state pest control exams and gain immediate access to on-demand testing.

A More Convenient Testing Experience for Candidates

Using Everblue’s proprietary registration and test delivery system, candidates can complete a system check and take their licensure exam from home—eliminating the need to travel to a testing center or schedule a specific appointment.

“Our goal is to simplify the certification process, improve efficiency, and provide a better user experience,” said Chris Boggiano, president of Everblue. “Now it’s as simple as registering, paying, and taking the exam from home when it’s convenient.”

Improving Efficiency for State Agencies

Everblue’s automated workflows also benefit administrators at the Arkansas Department of Agriculture by managing registration, enrollment, proctoring, and scoring.

Exam results are securely transmitted back to the state, reducing manual effort and allowing staff to focus on higher-value tasks.

“In essence, the state can save time and effort by shifting exam logistics to Everblue,” Boggiano said. “We’ve seen great success with other state agencies and expect the same here.”
