After successfully launching 11 online pest control certification exams in June 2022, the Arkansas Department of Agriculture has expanded its partnership with Everblue to include 10 additional pesticide certification exams. Applicators can now complete these exams virtually through Everblue’s online testing portal.
Expanding Access to Online Pesticide Certification
While pest control exams focus on managing pests and insects, pesticide certification exams ensure candidates are trained in the safe application of chemical sprays.
The newly digitized exams include:
- Aerial Core
- Agricultural Animal
- Agricultural Plant
- Aquatic Weed Control
- Basic Core
- Demonstration and Research
- Forest Pest Control
- Public Health
- Right of Way
- Wood Treatment
A Simpler, More Convenient Testing Experience
Using Everblue’s registration and test delivery system, candidates can register online and be immediately enrolled in on-demand exams. After completing a system check, they can take their certification exam from home.
“Our goal is to simplify the certification process, improve efficiency, and provide a better user experience,” said Chris Boggiano, president of Everblue. “Now it’s as simple as registering, paying, and taking the exam when it’s convenient.”
Supporting Efficiency for Both Candidates and Administrators
Everblue’s automated workflow not only improves the candidate experience but also streamlines operations for the Arkansas Department of Agriculture.
Everblue manages registration, enrollment, and online proctoring, while securely reporting exam results back to the state. This reduces administrative burden and ensures the integrity of the certification process.
“Online exam delivery and virtual proctoring is the way of the future,” Boggiano said. “It’s been rewarding to help state agencies become more efficient and expand access to certification.”
