I was recently asked to lead an Innovation Thinking Bootcamp for Davidson College, focused on how entrepreneurs use an innovative mindset to solve existing problems while preparing for future needs.

Bringing Innovation Thinking to Davidson College

Ranked among America’s most selective liberal arts colleges, Davidson is actively exploring how innovation can help address the growing pressures facing higher education—rising costs, increased competition, and shifting learner demographics.

Responding to Change Through Innovation

Recognizing these challenges, Davidson has embraced innovation as a way to adapt and evolve. By fostering entrepreneurial thinking, the college is equipping its community to better navigate uncertainty and identify new opportunities.

A Space Designed for Collaboration and Ideas

In 2014, Davidson purchased industrial space adjacent to campus to create an environment where students, faculty, and community members could come together to explore technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

This space—now known as The Hurt Hub—is designed to spark meaningful conversations and creative problem-solving.

Everblue’s Connection to The Hurt Hub

Everblue is proudly headquartered within The Hurt Hub. What makes this space special is its ability to bring together innovators and entrepreneurs who are passionate about developing creative solutions to real-world challenges.
