On June 22, Everblue and Wildfire co-hosted an Innovation Thinking Bootcamp for an exclusive group of Wildfire clients and internal staff.

Addressing Modern Workplace Challenges Through Innovation

Wildfire, a full-service marketing and branding agency based in Winston-Salem, NC, has long used creativity to solve problems for its clients. However, its leadership team wanted to go further.

In today’s environment—marked by distraction, uncertainty, and hybrid work—organizations are asking:

  • How do we build meaningful relationships?
  • How do we reduce burnout and inspire teams?
  • How do we adapt to constant change?

Innovation Thinking provided a framework to begin answering these questions.

Designing an Engaging and Collaborative Experience

To create an interactive and energizing session, Everblue and Wildfire selected tools that would break through traditional virtual meeting fatigue.

The bootcamp was hosted on Airmeet, allowing for dynamic breakout sessions and main stage presentations. Participants also used Mural, a collaborative workspace where teams could visually brainstorm and contribute ideas in real time.

Generating Ideas and Building Empathy

Before the event, participants contributed to a shared list of global changes—from hybrid work and telemedicine to cryptocurrency and supply chain disruptions.

During the session, these ideas were used to explore emotional responses and understand how change impacts both personal and professional lives. By sharing perspectives in small groups, participants built empathy—an essential foundation for solving real customer problems.

The Impact: Stronger Connections and a Repeatable Innovation Process

The bootcamp achieved several key outcomes:

  • Strengthened relationships between Wildfire employees and clients
  • Encouraged cross-team collaboration and idea sharing
  • Helped participants break away from routine thinking
  • Introduced innovation as a repeatable, accessible process

By the end of the session, participants left with a renewed sense of energy and a clear understanding that innovation is not reserved for big ideas—it can be applied to everyday decisions.

Everblue and Wildfire look forward to continuing their partnership and delivering future Innovation Thinking Bootcamps and Ideathons.
