Everblue, a leading provider of digital testing and certification management solutions, is pleased to announce a new contract with the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets (VAAFM) to deliver a fully hosted, web-based, contractor-supported proctored online examination system for pesticide applicators and dealers.
Launching a Flexible Online Exam Experience
Through this partnership, Everblue will initially administer eight pesticide certification exams on its secure online platform, offering candidates a modern, accessible, and reliable way to complete required testing. More exams will be added over time.
The solution allows individuals to register and take exams at any time of day, any day of the week — a significant advancement in convenience and flexibility for Vermont’s professionals.
Managing End-to-End Exam Administration
Everblue will manage key components of VAAFM’s examination process, including:
- Exam publishing
- Exam delivery
- Remote proctoring
- Results reporting
This end-to-end support ensures consistent, accurate, and secure testing experiences while upholding the integrity of Vermont’s pesticide certification program.
Supporting Secure and User-Friendly Certification Systems
“Our team is committed to providing VAAFM with a high-quality, secure, and user-friendly testing solution,” said Ian O’Brien, exams director at Everblue.
“As states modernize their certification processes, we’re proud to support Vermont in delivering an exam experience that is accessible, reliable, and aligned with industry best practices.”
Combining Technology and Human Oversight for Exam Integrity
To maintain the highest standards of exam integrity, Everblue’s remote proctoring system blends robust technology with human oversight.
Continuous monitoring tools detect irregularities, while trained human proctors review each session to identify potential issues such as mismatched identity details or suspicious behavior. Any discrepancies are documented and reported for further investigation, helping ensure the trustworthiness and validity of every exam taken.
Continuing to Modernize State Certification Programs
This collaboration reinforces Everblue’s longstanding commitment to helping states modernize and streamline their certification processes.
With scalable technology and an emphasis on security, Everblue continues to support partners nationwide in delivering efficient, compliant, and user-centered credentialing solutions.
