I felt honored to have the opportunity to interact with the playful and creative minds at Mattel in El Segundo, CA. Over the span of two days, we explored Mattel's legacy of innovation and how that mindset unlocks limitless possibilities in the business world.

A Company Built on Innovation and Play

Mattel, the iconic toy manufacturing and entertainment company, has always been forward-thinking in its mission to inspire and delight children. Known for brands like Barbie, Hot Wheels, American Girl, UNO, and Polly Pocket, Mattel has consistently embraced experimentation and purposeful play as a driver of innovation.

Bringing Innovation Thinking to Life

I can’t think of a company that better represents the core values of innovation thinking than Mattel. It was a pleasure to share insights on the innovation mindset and introduce practical tools that encourage creative thinking and problem-solving.

Energizing Teams Through Collaboration

The sessions were filled with energy as participants broke into teams to brainstorm new ideas. The enthusiasm was contagious—so much so that I heard other employees in the building wished they could have attended. That kind of feedback is always incredibly rewarding and speaks to the power of creating space for creativity.
