The North Carolina Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services (NCDA&CS) has expanded its partnership with Everblue by digitizing four of its Structural Pest Control certification exams and allowing candidates to take the exams via remote proctoring.
Expanding a Growing Partnership with NCDA&CS
Everblue and NCDA&CS began offering online pesticide licensing exams in early 2021. Following a successful rollout, the partnership has continued to grow—now supporting a total of 30 exams, including six Spanish-translated assessments.
The addition of Structural Pest Control exams represents another step forward in modernizing certification delivery across the state.
Increasing Access to Structural Pest Control Certification
Structural Pest Control includes the inspection, identification, and control of wood-destroying organisms and household pests, as well as fumigation and preventative treatments in and around structures.
The Everblue online testing portal now hosts the following exams:
- Structural Core
- Structural Fumigation
- Structural General Household Pests
- Structural Wood Destroying Pests
By offering these exams online with remote proctoring, candidates can complete their certification from home—eliminating the need for travel and scheduling constraints.
“We’re honored that NCDA&CS chose to work with Everblue,” said Chris Boggiano, co-founder of Everblue. “Each exam we add is another example of how we’re helping the state become more efficient and productive.”
