Today, we’re celebrating four years of partnership with the Queensland Traffic Offenders Program (QTOP)!

Celebrating a 4-Year Partnership with QTOP

QTOP was founded in 2006 and has grown into the most recognized road safety education program in Southeast Queensland, offering in-person training sessions in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

From Local Program to Growing Demand

In 2016, program director Lara Hickling began noticing increased demand from regional areas across Queensland. While she wanted to expand, delivering the same high-quality training in multiple locations posed a significant challenge—especially while balancing family life as a mother of five.

Building a Secure Online Training Solution

To meet this demand, Lara decided to transition to an online program. However, strict requirements from magistrates meant the solution needed to include advanced security features such as facial recognition, online proctoring, and video recording to verify user identity and program completion.

Everblue managed the entire development process, including online course delivery, proctoring, user verification, attendance tracking, and video recording.

A Partnership Built on Trust and Execution

“I had a long list of requirements,” Lara said. “If Everblue couldn’t meet every one of them, it wouldn’t work. But they went above and beyond to make it happen. Their professionalism, communication, and attention to detail stood out. Despite different countries and time zones, they’ve always been accessible. It’s been a great partnership.”

Expanding Across Australia

Since launching the online platform, QTOP has successfully expanded its reach nationwide. Today, the program offers:

  • Secure online enrollment
  • Digital test delivery
  • Remote proctoring

We’re proud to support QTOP’s continued growth and look forward to many more years of partnership.
